As for the reading, the more you do it, the more momentum you’d have. Your pace will increase with the more reading you do. Consider it like typing on a computer. Same effect. Your comprehension will adjust with the pace.

The downside to a book club is that you would not be able to churn out that 100+ books per year going by their schedule. But if you have a friend like Dede, you can do it. With the community, you’d discover books. You’d like to know what people are talking about, hence read.

All the digitalization projects need to be reviewed. I cannot understand how government agencies need to pay money to use Ghana card data when the same government has invested massively in the Ghana card project and there wouldn’t be any Ghana card without the government. Even to the point that some government agencies owe millions of dollars. We were told the agencies would be saving money by switching to the Ghana card. The bulk of the revenue from the Ghana card goes to the private partner. The incoming government needs to initiate an audit into how much this private partner has actually invested in the Ghana card project relative to investment by the state. My biggest fear is that cronies of the incoming government would see digitalization as a profitable venture and try to lobby to replace the existing vendors in the schemes we’ve already complained about without any proper value for money assessments. I’d like to be wrong though in this case.
