@BigM_TV @yubidad @Fxhedgers The point is to resolve wealth desparity. On our current trajectory no one will be able to afford anything. If the wealthy are such great job creators they should be able to easily recreate that wealth over again.

Wealth taxes designed to go after billionaires never work. The billionaires have the flexibility to leave or find loopholes. A wealth tax usually results in that jurisdiction bringing in LESS tax revenue, not more.

@burnerAccountX2 @yubidad @Fxhedgers The lowest net worth of the top 1% in the US is $13 million. That would cover ONE fucking M I N U T E of US gov't expenditures. Distribute it all so what... everyone else in the US could have 4 cents? Almost all of the 1%s NW is in stocks or real estate. All unrealized gains.

And you can only do that ONCE The only thing that would happen is the stock market would crash, hurting everyone w/ a 401k, and not even remotely making them whole
