7:40am update: we caught the southern and western parts of eta. The upper keys got the north and east which were much stronger and rain filled (our side ate up some dry air and fizzled out). We all slept through the night - even CB - and have no problems!

1:20 am update: still fine except st. P wanted to go out lol. It’s raining a bit and is windier but the core of the storm is passing north of us (footage from key largo is very different than what we have here by key west)

For our dedicated Friends of the Squad following us over here: we’re in good shape for the hurricane! Current status: hanging out on the porch. The north side of the storm missed us and we’ll be spared the worst of the wind & rain. It should pass over ~ 3am. Send peaceful vibes!

@neuhauka17_tiu so far so good! No thunder yet (in fact, we were supposed to get like 3 inches of rain today and we got NONE! It's windy but I can still see the stars) Hopefully the overnight and tomorrow stay quiet, too!
