Just a heads up to all landlords and renters, it is HIGHLY illegal to use a tenant's SSN to find out if they got their stimulus check on the IRS website. It's called IRS fraud and is a federal crime.

@jdanton @AirborneGeek The judge was in Travis county, which is semi-liberal, compared to the rest of Texas. The absentee law was written pretty open ended, "likelihood of needing personal assistance or of injuring the voter's health." The Texas Attorney General has filed an appeal, or course.

And if the wrong person saw you legitimately use it at a pay phone, they'd assume you were stealing call and tell the police.

I feel like recommendation letters and references are very...elitist?? Not many working class students have the social capital to receive great recommendations or even build relationships with people (who are mostly Whites) which really just excludes them from securing a position
