I will never stop pointing out that prior to 2016 major parties almost NEVER ran candidates with negative national favorability ratings and that since 2016 it’s been the case for five out of the six candidates over the three elections.

I've only had one job where I was given paid vacation. I took one week and a soon as I came back I put in my notice. Nothing shakes you out of a shitty job faster than a break from it. They know that. That's why vacation is discouraged, even if it's offered.
