🚨 Urgent Request to Liverpool fans. My friend has become homeless in the last 24 hours and needs a place to stay in Liverpool. He's a very nice, friendly, Swedish man. Loves LFC. If anyone had a place to stay for him please let me know. Currently travelling from Newcastle.

The Yan Diomande saga is a red flag. Unproven player. Huge fee. Agency issues. Every club supposedly his dream move. At what point do clubs just walk away? He hasn't actually earned this level of leverage? Why are clubs entertaining this?

Let’s talk Macca: A world class midfielder on his day who was awful last season (like most players) but has had a brilliant World Cup. Under Iraola could he get back to his best? Or is it time to let him go if it meant that we could sign an elite ball winning CDM & RW, and push Gravenberch into the 8 beside Szoboszlai, with more of a Fabinho type player behind them? Liverpool are crying out for a defensive midfielder, have never replaced what we lost when Fabinho left. Is Macca on his way out? Or on his way back to his best?

@_LFCLOYAL_ Call me old fashioned but when I see a transfer start to play out like this it immediately puts me off

The Wirtz question hasn't gone away. Szoboszlai is perfect for Iraola's pressing 10 role. So where does Wirtz play? Off the left? Does Szoboszlai become part of the midfield two? Or does Iraola alter his system?

If Rio Ngumoha is genuinely 'the future', why are so many of our fans desperate to spend £100m+ on another left winger? It doesn't add up. You can't have it both ways. The contradiction is wild.

@AzzerBall1968 I am thinking the same. Yeah he seems like a good punt if the deal was decent. Not many high quality right wingers around at the moment though.

@yagizsozmen Yeah that seems logical. Will be interesting to see who would play alongside him if thats the case. Obviously it will be multiple combinations throughout the season but intrigued to see who are seen as the main 2.

@BigRed_LFC Wirtz is also a pressing 10, just very different physically from Szobo. But he does press a lot. My guess ie Szobo 8, Wirtz 10

Saying Szoboslai is a good pressing 10 is hardly a crazy opinion with no facts. We literally won the league with it and did well with it the season before. And as for the rest, all i did was pose a few simple questions to get fans opinions. If you get annoyed about fans discussing tactics for a season ahead then it's on you.

@NiHADlfc Do you not think our right wing situation is much more pressing though? We do have Gakpo to cover left as much as people hate on him. Right wing has zero quality.

@BigRed_LFC Because of what you just said, he is ‘the future’. Liverpool needs to be challenging for titles right now and Rio is still raw and isn’t ready to be that player at the moment.
