@3032Tomcat @JacketNation Those who haven’t seen it, don’t typically REALLY get it. Even a lot of military people who may have served, but didn’t really spend time in the culture, don’t get it. Had to be done. Long over due. Nothing political about it.

@JacketNation I agree, Jack. My feelings are reinforced a hundred times over now that they have hanged those three young men, including the wrestler. They are evil people and God bless Trump for going after them. Not a single question in my mind.

I have upmost respect for his service and agree with him on most things politically. I also mourn the loss of his wife as most of us do. However, I have to ask: Is it because he agrees with you now vs disagreeing with you then? He's either misinformed, wrong, or lying now or then. That said: 1. Iran's lead negotiator told us they had enough enriched uranium to make 11 bombs in 10 days 2. He said they would not give up anything through negotiations we could not take militarily 3. Enriching uranium to the level they had is only for military purpose see IAEA 4. They reached an agreement to acquire hypersonic anti-ship missiles 4 days before we struck. Imagine those in the Gulf 5. There has never been a weapon Iran had that they did not share with their proxies 6. Most of the Tunnels to Towers beneficiaries are victims of Iranian placed IEDs. 75.9% of injuries in Iraq were blast injuries and most of those some form of IEDs. The technology and materials used trace straight back to Iran. 7. Iran proxies attacked our people in Iraq and Syria 150 times in the run up to Epic Fury by Joe's own statements 8. They and their proxies have been killing and kidnapping Americans since 1979 9. Their ballistic missile program was on the brink of making them unreachable - they still may be if a ground fight is required to secure that uranium 10. Have you considered what they or their proxies could do with a dirty bomb or short range missiles placed in shipping containers? 11. They have agents in the U.S. at division strength - also in Joe's former words and by most accounts 12. You might also consider the aid and comfort Iran provided to AQ and housing OBL for how many years.... 13. Joe is well within his rights to disagree with Trump on policy, but the 180 on his position is difficult to understand. Also, the domestic threat from them has only risen and in the post he abandoned, he was the single best equipped person to keep us safe. That does not feel patriotic. Once the attack proceeded, it seems more Patriotic to do the job and write a book later. Joe Kent aside, you may feel that we should not go to war with Iran, but "The enemy has a say". James Mattis. I believe Iran has been at war with us since 1979 and their constant "Death to America". was real intent. We are the "Far Enemy" that stood between them and their religous imperative. Cheers, J

@EricBoylan8 @lippyent Yeah…. Full disclosure. My Dad was my marketing man. He wasn’t really up to date on his economics…. Kind of stuck in the 1960’s prices. But what the hell. I stayed booked. Haha

Only line change was Girard (lower body injury) being a full participant in practice and slotting in on the 2nd d-pair with Letang. Shea and Clifton were on the 3rd d-pair and Solovyov was moved to the extra pair with Graves. St. Ivany (hand surgery recovery) also skated.

@dvesean It was a good formula. 80’s & 90’s TV had a lot of good ones. Now it’s all of that reality crap.

The Players’ Tribune@PlayersTribune

In 2018, Hal Gill reflected on playing against — and eventually with — Sidney Crosby: “The first thing that struck me about Sidney Crosby was his size. He was … small. I wanted to dominate and overpower him. When we matched up, I wanted him to feel every ounce of my strength. I was still with the Bruins in 2005 when I played him for the first time. He was tearing up the league and I thought, All right, kid, you haven’t played me yet. First shift, I get him in the corner and I lean on him, and he doesn’t move. It’s like I’m pushing against a brick wall. And then he slips right off me, and he’s gone. I tried it again and again and again. Then sometime in the second period I realized: I’m doing exactly what he wants. He wants me to lean on him, so he can slip off me. He wants me to try to bully him, because he can’t be bullied. He’s too strong. So the next shift I get out there, and I think, OK, I’m going to force him to his backhand every time. That’s what I would do to guys I couldn’t handle, because everyone is weaker on their back hand; it makes it harder for them to pass. But Sid would fire pinpoint backhand passes 30 or 40 feet across the ice. It was like he was playing a different sport. How?! This guy is only 19. I don’t get it. Then I became teammates with him in 2007, and it all made sense. I saw his work ethic, his leadership and his passion for the game — nobody loves hockey more than Sid. And I saw his skill up close. His vision, his speed and — yeah, he’s got thighs like tree trunks — I saw why I couldn’t move him on the ice.” playerstribu.ne/Gill @Skillsy75 | @penguins | @NHL

@Steigerworld2 That’s a great point, and the way I see it for this team too. That OT/Loser point thing is designed to keep teams in the race, that otherwise wouldn’t be. Gotta win ‘em when you can. Just make it out of the regular season, whatever it takes.

That wasn't a loss by the Penguins tonight. It was an OVERTIME loss. Overtime wins are better but why is an OTL a positive? Give me a minute.
