May 4th 1970 Kent State University/Ohio I was 14. The Ohio National Guard opened fire on some 300 students protesting The Vietnam War. 4 Kent State students were killed, 9 wounded. Chrissie Hynde (The Pretenders) & Joe Walsh were both Kent State students then, they were there.

@dvesean My 1st illicit gambling memories! We’d drive down from Beaver County, buy 3.2 beer in East Liverpool and go make $2 W-P-S bets at Waterford Park. They let you bring in coolers, we were 16 Y/O! Great times from the late ‘70s! Btw, just saw Billy at Boulder Station last month.

May 2nd Today is Lou Gramm's 76th B-Day. Lou was One Of Rock's Greatest Lead Singers w/Foreigner. I found tickets for The Chevrolet Amph, June 2003: Lou Gramm & Foreigner, Paul Rodgers of Bad Co & Kansas. Lou had already gone thru brain tumor surgery a few yrs earlier.

May 3rd 1951 February 1980, I was working at WYDD, my 1st Radio job straight outta college. And this new artist named Christopher Cross (B-Day/75!) released an amazing song, "Ride Like The Wind." (Written while tripping on LSD!) Dedicated to Lowell George of Little Feat.
