@semakismymoralc Maybe growing up but personally I think once he started taking tennis seriously he switched to Rafa as he has tried to emulate Rafa’s mindset and attitude. Maybe I’m projecting though!!

It’s a holiday today in the UK so after I play tennis this morning I’m going to chill out with my iPad and draw Jannik! I’ve been drawing him in every tournament he’s played this year! If you have a fave photo from Madrid I can use for reference, please drop it below ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Lucky because when I was 13 I made a choice to leave home and to go to a center to practice. I think this for parents is very difficult.. especially for a mother, you know, to accept that in a way.. to just go and leaving home… I think it was tough for me, but it was for sure more tough for parents because they also would like to see the kid growing up. I missed out a little bit of time, spending time with my parents. I would like to catch up as much as I can. Obviously at home, grandma and grandpa, the parents of my mom, they're still both alive. I understand her very much that she wants to stay at home and spend as much time as possible with them. But I also would like to have more time with family. It's great to see Carlos for example traveling with family and brother and I think he's doing very well. Because when somebody is not there anymore.. then you regret it. So hopefully I can have some more time with my parents and the people I love.. and also with my brother and friends. Because things can change. So she's definitely a role model and I'm very happy to have my mom… and very happy to have my dad.. and they are a true inspiration for me.
