@swansea_indy @swans_academy Actually, the permanent committee on geographical names which advises the UK Govt on such matters states the term Czechia should be used exclusively going forward, or at least with the former name in brackets. Disappointed in the toddler tantrum of 'but they did it too' though.

Internationally they are referred to as the Czech Republic and the term Czech Republic is accepted as the appropriate term by their govt. FIFA use it as do UEFA. We notice you didn’t mention @swans_academy who also used the same terminology. Czech Republic is the widely accepted name for their international teams. How about we let the lad enjoy his moment and ‘maybe’ do your research.

Maybe use the correct name for the nation though. Czechia hasn't been known as The Czech Republic since 2022

Regardless of the result, this is an absolute joke. All of the Sky coverage for this match has felt awfully one sided, never mind this “alternative commentary”.

Appreciate this ban affects all fans but Brighton fans have been advised that coins and phone power banks are banned from the Stadium of Light and there will be ‘enhanced searching’. “Any coins discovered during searches will be placed into sealed collection buckets.
