@IgottaPoo42 @BlockchainJF @AdamSchefter @E_Woodyard The unbalanced tackle was automatically ineligible based off his #. Only player who needed to report was Decker saying he was eligible, which pretty clearly happened. Creative play, unfortunately undone by the White Hat assuming #70 was reporting simpy b/c he had done so earlier
English

@LBIronWorks @BlockchainJF @AdamSchefter @E_Woodyard Okay debatable in a way but say that’s the case they woulda had to claim the unbalanced tackle as INELIGIBLE in order to make the weak side tackle eligible so someone didn’t claim INELIGIBILITY when moving to an eligible receiving spot. This play is a nightmare

More about the Lions being “confused” as to why the referee negated a late two-point try in a controversial Cowboys’ win, via @E_Woodyard:

@j_funkin_lee @NFL_DovKleiman Did I say anything about that play? My only issue is w/ this confusion re: the formation. They had 7 on, 4 off, and Decker (who reported) was the EMOLOS on that side of formation. No illegal touching, no illegal man downfield, and legal formation.
English

@LBIronWorks @NFL_DovKleiman Oh really so the tripping flag that was called on Dallas that was actually Hutchinson that would fans ended the game? Yeah thought so
English

Turns out the officiating crew that stole this game from the #Lions is the same refs that blew the #Chiefs-#Packers game a few weeks ago.
They should literally lose their jobs because if the Lions lose Home field advantage in the playoffs over it, some coaches/players might lose their jobs as well.
The NFL can't look the other way right?

Dov Kleiman@NFL_DovKleiman
You can LITERALLY see Jared Goff telling Taylor Decker to report to the refs, which he did And he was flagged?? the #Lions won the game didn't hey? twitter.com/NFL_DovKleiman…
English

@IgottaPoo42 @BlockchainJF @AdamSchefter @E_Woodyard The WR on Decker's side was off the ball and so was the TE on the other side of the formation. 6 OL + the 1 WR on the far side = 7 on the line and 4 in the backfield.
English

@cabry32188 @NFL_DovKleiman That WR was off the ball. Decker reporting made it a legal formation.
English

@NFL_DovKleiman Was #68 covered by a receiver on the line of scrimmage? I thought he was?
English

@NFL_DovKleiman You do realize there were two penalties on the play correct ?even if they did screw up the eligible receiver part, it was still illegal formation.
English

@NFL_DovKleiman There were 3 freaking flags they could have thrown!!! Three!!! stop crying whenit happens to the cowboys you all are up cheering. Deal with it
English

@BlockchainJF @AdamSchefter @E_Woodyard Unbalanced formation w/ 6 OL: 2 to left of C and 3 to the right. Decker reported, the WR on his side was off the ball, and the WR on the far side was on. That made Decker and the far side WR the end men on the LOS. Off WR, off TE, QB, RB were in backfield. ✅️ formation.
English

Decker was ineligible Because he was part of the five-man line. Anybody outside of the five-man line If correctly reported (offensive lineman number) or tight end/ receiver would be eligible. Decker was lined up as the left tackle. He was not eligible. Everybody needs to get off this who reported or not. It's irrelevant. Because Decker lined up without somebody between him and Jonah. It's pretty simple rules you learn in basic football.
