I don't think people realize how good Tanner McKee is and the potential that he has. Great size, vision and throws with great touch, timing and anticipation. He has one more year on his contract. By the end of next year, we will know who the Eagles' future QB is between him and Jalen Hurts. The Eagles are a very aggressive and forward-thinking organization. Eagles 31, Buccaneers 25: Jalen Hurts Rewatch Report Card It really was a tale of two halves for Jalen Hurts Hurts was elite elite in the first half. It was the best he’s looked since the Super Bowl. It might have been better than he looked at any point last year in the regular season. His accuracy was elite, his decision making was basically perfect and he did the one thing that he has struggled with in his career — he torched the Todd Bowles blitz. He got it out quick, he had great accuracy and made the Buccaneers pay for blitzing him. The whole team was good in the first half but Hurts was the best player on the field and the reason they had such a big lead. The issue was the second half. Watching it live I didn’t think Hurts was the main reason the offense fell apart. He wasn’t on the rewatch but he was a much bigger part than I thought. His accuracy was straight up bad in the second half, which is rare for Hurts. Normally the passing game struggles because of Hurts not throwing it, and there was some of that. But I thought the main issue from Hurts was just poor accuracy. He had a few passes to AJ that were uncatchable. He had one nearly intercepted by two defenders on the same play. Still, as bad as he was in the second half, he was the reason they had the lead. I bumped Hurts down from a B to a C+ on the rewatch just because he was way worse in the second half than I initially thought watching it live.
