#Notts defender Lewis Macari has posted on Instagram after his horrific injury at Colchester on Saturday.
"I’ll be right behind the lads for the rest of the season and truly believe we can achieve what this club deserves 🖤🤍
"And finally, thank you for all the kind messages and the support from all four stands on Saturday. It genuinely means a lot. I’ll be working as hard as I can to be back as soon as possible ❤️"

Lewis Macari has undergone surgery after sustaining a lower leg injury in Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two fixture against Colchester United.
The defender remains in hospital in Cambridge but it’s hoped he will be transferred to Nottingham in the coming days for ongoing assessment and care, with further updates to follow when appropriate.
We’d like to thank Colchester’s medical staff for their assistance, along with everyone who has sent messages of support to Lewis.
