Big Shots Spotlight! Tylen Kingsby (6’6 2029 Huntington Prep, WV) Tylen’s versatility and athleticism is impressive, his bounce eye popping! He can get to the rim off the dribble using basic crossovers accompanied by a swift burst and when he launches himself above the rim watch out! With a 50+” vertical and seemingly effortless leaping ability few defenders can go where he’s going as he finishes with thunderous one and two hand slams whether finishing a drive or as a lob target. Tremendous bounce! Very good shooter off the dribble, fluid mechanics and highly efficient in the mid range areas. Tylen moves without the ball nicely not only back dooring defenders for alleyoop slams but coming off pin downs for catch and shoot three pointers or working off the ball from all levels as a catch and shoot option. Part of the versatility that caught my attention in addition to his explosiveness and elite level athleticism. Tylen has a great motor and is a shot blocking presence especially off the help side where he often flies in seemingly out of nowhere to block a shot. Nice length and footwork to defend multiple positions. Tylen already holds a pair of D1 offers already as Alabama A&M University and California State University North Ridge extended offers last summer. @BigShotsToday @BigShotsGlobal

Louisville assistant coach Thomas Carr is headed to Indiana, per @JoeTipton . Carr, a Toledo, Ohio native, has spent the last two seasons on staff under Pat Kelsey and previously worked with him at Charleston. He played his college basketball at Pfeiffer University before moving into coaching.

Big Shots Spotlight! DaVonta “DJ” Lindsey, Jr (6’1 2028 North Mecklenburg HS , NC) “DJ” is a dynamic combo guard who matches high IQ playmaking with the ability to knock down shots at a highly efficient rate from all levels. He can break you down with quick crossovers and between the legs dribbles, changes directions in a flash and accelerates quickly when attacking space. Fearless attacking the basket and has a blur-like second gear. He has excellent vision and passing skills and the ability to make all the passes, on target and on time. He is a crafty finisher with touch and is an explosive leaper often finishing with highlight reel worthy and vicious one hand slams. “DJ” can drive hard and suddenly stop and quickly elevate into a highly efficient dribble pull-up. A lefty shooter with smooth, repeatable mechanics, he is a threat from all levels but his dribble pull-up is a key part of his offensive arsenal because it compliments his quickness off the bounce and he uses that quickness to also create space for the dribble pull-up. He moves without the ball nicely and is near automatic shooting off the catch. Uses quick catch and shoot action thanks to his excellent footwork and ability to get the ball to his shot pocket quickly. Also does a masterful job relocating with the dribble and getting to his spots for the dribble pull-up. “DJ” is a pesky defender with quick feet and active hands, a disruptive on ball defender. He led North Meck to the NCHSAA 7A SemiFinals with a 25-2 record this season while averaging 13.5 points, 3.5 assists per game. @djbekillinkk @BigShotsToday @BigShotsGlobal
