This is a clueless take. We all wanted Ja Morant to work out, but Memphis gave Morant more chances than any other franchise in the NBA would’ve given him. Injuries aside, the only person that failed was Ja. Fans need to move on because the organization is trying to

@NBAMyke No GM with any sense would out arguably the best player this franchise has ever seen on the block prior to Europe. Then pretend to act surprised when he didn’t get offers. He’s trying to play a city that KNOWS basketball. Memphis is a southern city but Memphis is far from dumb

just wanna make a quick safe space thread. how is everyone feeling about the team? i’ve rode so hard for this team since my childhood but what pera, wexler, and kleiman are doing is beyond anything we’ve seen. we’ve had “bad teams” but never seen nasty work like this from the top on down. i feel like they’re intentionally trying to self sabotage and alienate the fanbase to fuel excuses to move the team. i genuinely do not feel like i can support what is happening, but i also don’t want to give into what could be the bigger picture. how are you feeling as a fan? try to be specific too.

@JoeMullinax Ja doesn’t fit because of the GM and the coo(that hasn’t proven he can coach in the NBA) and the GN has proven he can draft but has yet to prove he can build a contender. And-no the jury is not out the verdict is in on that.

Ja and Clarke don’t make sense on this roster moving forward. Not sure you can move on from either without some young talent and/or draft capital. GG, of all the young players, for whatever reason, seems to be the least clean of a fit. Again - I love GG. Want him here.

@SainAsylum I understand that, my problem is he has proven he can’t build a contending team. He can draft no argument there but he also has proven he doesn’t have patience with some players he drafts. And once again he said doubling down on youth was a mistake.
