We are excited to welcome Derron McQuitty to the Bilingual Learning Lab. Derron is one of two students who will spend 10 weeks during the summer at Boston University as part of the NC A&T State University-Summer Internship 2024.

We wish Dr. Crespo a wonderful week at the International Symposium on Bilingualism (ISB14) at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia! Dr. Crespo is an Early Career Keynote Speaker at the symposium and will speak about input variability, language, and cognition in children.

Lab member Renzo Quintero has received funding from BU's Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP), allowing him to work with Dr. Crespo this summer to study bilingualism, language ability, and variability effects in children's word-learning skills. Congrats, Renzo!

Earlier this month, Dr. Crespo spoke at NYU as part of the CSD Spring 2023 Colloquium Series. At the end of June, she will present at the International Symposium on Bilingualism (ISB) at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, as an Early Career Keynote speaker.
