Watching Michigan State @ Michigan…two really good programs. This kid from Michigan goes to the line and @tracywolfson says that he is one of ten seniors in the Big10 that is still at the school he initially enrolled in as a freshman!!! BTW…18 schools in The Big 10! #Sad

Morning….please know I am not throwing shade at either school that played and especially not the host school. I grew up in in era and coached in an era where getting to the Drum/Dome was a very memorable experience for kids and coaches. FYI…The video was taken at half.

This is a UIL state girls basketball 3A semi-final venue. Nothing against the host site but the kids play this far, they deserve better!

This was a 10 minute performance on strictly scheduled block television. What a moment if they took 1/5 of an episode just for this. It is claimed that John Mayer did this for David Letterman. He knows his range and tends to stay in it. This was simply just a kind-hearted gesture to send off a friend. John Mayer performing 'American Pie' live on Letterman. Hey everyone, just wanted to give you an update on what’s going on with me and why I have been silent on my Texas State and San Marcos sports coverage. Last Monday, my grandmother passed away so I’ve been home with my family for this past week.

Dad, on the left, passed away 20 years ago today. Here he is with his brother, Gordon. He died on Uncle Gordon’s birthday. Both good fellows, family men, served their country, had reserved humor and could catch a lot of fish on a trotline!
