America has in fact managed to have high levels of immigration and high numbers of undocumented residents AND high employment for US citizens. A larger labor pool of people who are willing and able to work tends to be good for businesses, which can staff up, expand, etc.

Coffee prices have not surged 25 percent. We only charge one dollar more per pound than a year ago. If tariffs on things we can’t produce here (coffee) strengthen our economy then we may have to pay a little more. Luckily we are paying less for gas and some other things. Making our country better is going to require some sacrifice. Luckily it won’t be near to as much as our founding forefathers sacrificed to provide us with the keys to this republic.
