The #BurnzieBowl launches today at all @HappyandHale. I tried it yesterday with some old @Canes friends and it’s delish. I loved the smoky steak paired with arugula, brussels, bacon, peppers & more. It launches Thurs at @PNCArena and hopefully makes a deep run into June.

Unpopular volleyball training tip: let athletes take time off. Without guilting them by sending home workouts you know they’re not doing. Capitalize on nature’s deload weeks. Then be smart about what next week’s training looks like when they come back full of pie, as they should.

@KyrieAndrews Great question. The goal is to hydrate enough during the game so there is no weight lost. On average players lose less than 2% of their body weight and some even gain a few ounces if our hydration plan is working.

@NCSwanson @deb_or_ah_m I would stay away from fried food. Grilled chicken would be a better choice. Keep in mind Biosteel does not have any carbohydrates, a key fuel before, during, and after exercise. Snack on fruits and vegetables. Drink plenty of H2O in the days leading up.

@mboyle1959 @ZachDechant Basic movement terminology needs to be better. 2 feet to 2 feet is a jump; 1 foot to the same foot is a hop; 1 foot to opposite foot is a bound. Always used this terminology back when I taught elementary physical education. Keep it simple and consistent.
