Athletic Newham set the tone for the afternoon thanks to Emmanuel Osilaja, whose relentless pressing forced a costly miskick from @Benfleet_FC goalkeeper Florent Gislette. Osilaja still had plenty to do, but showed great composure to capitalize on the error and fire home his first goal of the game, giving Athletic Newham the perfect platform to build on. That goal was crucial as Newham grew in confidence, controlling the game and going on to score three more goals, sealing an impressive 4–1 victory over Benfleet FC. A strong all-round team performance and a result to build momentum going forward. 💪⚽

⏱️ FULL-TIME | 🟡⚫️ Southend Manor FC 3 - 0 Brimsdown FC A strong afternoon for the Manor. 🟡⚫️ After a tense and physical opening half hour where both sides created chances, the breakthrough came in the 33rd minute. A brilliant set-piece delivery helped along by the wind caused chaos in the box, and Dylan Sanham reacted quickest to finish from close range for 1–0. Just two minutes later, the lead was doubled. Tash stayed composed inside the area, guiding his effort neatly into the bottom-left corner to make it 2–0 heading into halftime. In the second half, Manor pushed on. Billy Cottrill delivered a dangerous corner into the box, and Harry Barnham was alert to steer it home for 3–0. Both teams continued to create chances, but the Manor held firm and secured all three points.
