You might have heard – as St. Charles County Executive, I am going to eliminate personal property taxes and cut real estate taxes. My three part plan is this: STEP 1: Pass a County Charter Amendment that authorizes the county to use excess funds and government efficiency savings to pay off the personal and real property tax bills of St. Charles County taxpayers. STEP 2: Enact responsible spending limits and require that any surplus revenue be directed back to the taxpayers— NOT wasted on growing government. STEP 3: Create a St. Charles County Department of Government Efficiency tasked with finding 10-15% savings in county government. We are currently on STEP 1, which means I need YOUR help! So @lincolnhough is upset about losing his Chairmanship of the Approps committee. I’ve been calling for this for years because he votes and acts like a Democrat and never should have been empowered with this position. But more than that, it was Hough himself that set the Senate precedent for taking Chairs when he stood behind @calebrowden at a presser doing it to @MOFreedomCaucus members a little over a year ago. Congrats to Missouri Republicans for passing the Missouri FIRST 7-1 congressional map and initiative petition reform. This doesn’t happen without the leadership of Donald Trump. Period. Game ball goes to @MOFreedomCaucus, which has been calling for this for years and worked with the White House to make this a statewide priority AND get IP reform added to the eventual call.
