Those convictions say NOTHING about Trump and everything about your utterly depraved garbage party. The accusation was that the NDA was a campaign expense, not a legal expense, which, if true (it was not), would have made it a misdemeanor violation of the business records act. But the statute of limitations had run. So a novel legal theory was concocted which made the NDA payments a conspiracy to violate federal campaign finance laws. Except the federal prosecutor had already declined to take the NDA case, as it was without merit. But, had this theory been correct (it was not) then the federal court would have had jurisdiction, not the New York district court. At trial, a myriad of reversible errors were made by the judge, including the utilization of novel jury instructions. The twelve jurors DID NOT AGREE on the elements or the basis/grounds of the "crime." Consequently the vote was split three ways. Which should mean no conviction. PERIOD. The judge ruled it was a conviction despite the lack of a unanimous jury verdict with all the jurors agreeing on the crime that was committed. This INSANE case was DEMONSTRABLY RIGGED from the start. The prosecutors should be disbarred and the judge should be removed from the bench. And lastly, why would any impartial DA ever bring such an unbelievably flimsy/dubious case based on a COMPLETELY NOVEL LEGAL THEORY against a FORMER PRESIDENT? If you're going to indict a former president, your case damn well better be a straightforward open and shut case based on indisputable crimes. But it wasn't. It was the furthest thing from it. The case was a complete f'ing sham. And every sane person knows *exactly* why that abominable Frankenstein case was brought...
