NJ’s veterans and military families shouldn’t have to dig through multiple websites to locate basic support. A2138 was signed into law last week, requiring the NJ Department of Veterans Affairs to develop a mobile app to connect veterans & their families to benefits & resources.

The First Responders Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Protection Act (A2145) is now law. This legislation provides job protections for paid first responders diagnosed with work-related PTSD, ensuring they can take leave to receive help and return when they’re cleared and ready.
