Take a hard look at the numbers staring back at you in this meme. $38.9 trillion in national debt. $88.4 trillion in unfunded liabilities. Another $6.1 trillion piled on by state and local governments. (As of 5/9/26) Add it all up and the figures stop being numbers and start being a confession. This isn't governing, friends. This is looting. Every bloated spending bill, every back-room deal, every program that never gets cut, every agency that never gets audited, it all lands in the same place. On the backs of working Americans, and on the kids who haven't even been born yet. The cartoon nails it. A bloated politician laughing in a tuxedo, toasting himself with a glass of wine, while a cigar smolders in a "taxpayer paid" ashtray and money bags pile up around him.
