A Motorola radio was taken from a vehicle at Fire Station 3 on the morning of Saturday, Dec. 9. It can be dropped off at any fire station, no questions asked. Charges will not be pressed if it is returned. The radio has been deactivated. A police report has been filed.

HWY 87 is open to traffic but slow moving. Lockwood, Shepherd, Blue Creek & Laurel are assisting. Independent School is open to impacted sub divisions until situation is under control.

BFD is battling a grass fire an est. 10 acres along Hwy 87 near Hawthorne Sub.Div. Several structures are threatened & evacuations in order. Please stay away from area. Air craft is inbound to assist extinguish flames.

Crews are responding to a report of several RV’s on fire at Midway RV on Frontage Road. Please stay clear of the area.
