By whom, Pat? Can we identify the engineers and their motivation, if only to examine the purpose of degrading the quality of our tribal societies? Communism? The series of YouTube videos about the quality of our everyday food ingredients has made me consider changes to my usual items. I've always used President unsalted butter for baking and cooking, and I have added Kerrygold to that list. Bread worried me for a bit until I bought a Waitrose Ciabatta loaf, but now I'm not too sure, as Ocado offers the same. Are they importing frozen dough from Italy? I can't use avocado oil as I'm on a beta-blocker.

We are putting words into action. A Hybrid Navy. Northern allies. Real deterrence in the High North and North Atlantic in support of @NATO. Last week all @JEFnations signed a statement of intent committing each nation to working up detailed proposals.

The UK needs independent defence and prosperity policies. Aligning with the EU will lock us into slow growth and a losing strategy. Relying on the US for defence forgets we stood alone in 1939 and had to liberate the Falklands ourselves. We need UK policies for our success.

In the Royal Navy, we used to make tea so strong that you could almost make the spoon stand up in it. Last week, I bought a packet of loose Assam tea. I used 3 spoonfuls in a 1-2 cup teapot. It was as weak as ditchwater. I've reordered more from a different supplier. I'll let you know how I get on.

Make stronger tea. Most modern tea is too weak.
