Shut out the Rays tonight!! (The first time the Rays have been shut out)
Incredible pitching from Early, Whitlock, & Chapman. Ideal night from the staff.
Solo HR’s from Abreu and Rafaela were the only offense but we didn’t need anything else.

This gimmick is so old and tired … Skip does any and everything he can for engagement. So much so, he’ll say something as stupid as this and we allow it to be aired on TV for the discourse that comes after. This isn’t sports reporting, it’s rage baiting at its highest level all because LeGoat chooses not to acknowledge anything Skip has to say. Can’t teach an old dog new tricks unfortunately and we didn’t expect anything less from the guy in his return to First Take

Tough finish to what was an exciting start. Red Sox went down early but climbed back in it. When they went down late, the Rays shut the door.
Tonight, the pitching staff (not Samaniego) was not good and offensively the boys couldn’t rally a 2nd time.

Roman Anthony is back on the IL for the Red Sox. Hopefully it’s not long and he can start producing for the team. I really hope one day he will be the superstar the Red Sox need but he still needs time to develop and grow. Nothing wrong with that, it’s just going to take patience to see his high ceiling pan out.

RED SOX SWEEP THE TIGERS!!!
First sweep of the year for the Red Sox.
Sonny Gray had a good outing and was helped out by some fantastic defensive plays from Abreu and Rafaela.
Offense had just 4 hits but they walked 7 times and caused havoc on the basepaths.
