@davehull @chadloder There is a method of cutting costs in complex organizations which is, start shutting down services and see if anyone screams, and if so, do you actually care? And if you do, you turn it back on. No idea if this was the plan tho. PE does something like this with payment systems.

@atgarone It’s one thing to make this deal to new employees, especially if starting a new company, when you can establish the culture and expectations from the beginning. There are people who would happily apply. And for those not interested, it has no impact.

@atgarone I realize the worst part about this is not the deal itself, but the fact that it was imposed on employees who had agreed to a different deal when they started. Many of them have been there for a while, and may have families now.

100% would have signed up to do this 10-15 years ago.

@atgarone I’m good doing 8 or so hours of computer work, and then switching to working on my home remodel for several hours. But 12 hours on a computer doesn’t work for me, personally.
