Doctors say he’ll need another week of medication and cage rest. His wing is still a bit red and inflamed, but it’s improving overall. New feathers are coming in and starting to replace the damaged ones. No surgery needed. 🙏🙏🙏

Feeling more active and running away from humans more! Feeling more like myself again! I can’t wait until I’m no longer cage bound and no longer have to take yucky medicine!

@fprefect121 He’s been in the cage only for the past few days. Doctor said to keep in the cage for a week to rest and heal.

@BillyTheTiel Great news. Duckie agrees, the medicine I have to give him is disgusting.

Starting to get back to regular routine and sing again! Was quiet and sleeping on and off for a few days! Hate the taste of the medicine I get from the humans! But they give me treats afterwards for being a good birb! ❤️☺️

It is with a broken heart, that I announce that at 12:01pm today, Bespin crossed the rainbow bridge. He went peacefully in my hands. Thank you so much for letting me share Bespins life with you and thank you so much for sharing your love with him. He was a beautiful baby boy.

This guy charged me nearly 700 bucks to fix his broken blood feathers, and he’s as remorseful as a cat caught in a rainstorm.

@badbirb I hope the feathers grow back so the vet doesn’t have to remove them surgically.

@BillyTheTiel Hapened to one of my birds... blood feather too. Scared the crap out of me till I realized what it was.

Had to take Billy in to the vet this morning as he broke three wing feathers during the night

@fprefect121 This is in Canadian dollars 😂 not many exotic vets in my area and it’s worth it for them to be okay

@BillyTheTiel Ouch. Duckie got me for 500 for an overnight at the vet because of a clogged tear duct and a sinus infection. He had no problem with the antibiotic, he hates the celebrix for the inflamation.

@fprefect121 Just pain management right now as he broke blood feathers. We will reassess in 7 days on how his feathers are.
