@algo_luca How about starting "easy", by finding a company with the appropriate culture AND complimentary business? Complimentary could mean what could otherwise be a partnership/client-provider.

What I'd love: an Erasmus program for companies and engineers. Send some of your tenured engineers to work with another company for a while (e.g. 6 months). Learn about their innovations *in context*. Then bring the knowledge back into your "home" organization.
