On-loan Forest Green Rovers duo Billy Glover and Ciaran Walsh have returned to their parent club. The duo arrived at the Loop Meadow Stadium on a one-month work experience loan deal at the start of the month. Billy featured in all five games during his time at the Loop, whilst Ciaran made one appearance. Didcot manager Jamie Heapy praised the pair and thanked Forest Green Rovers for allowing the pair to spend the past month at the Loop Meadow Stadium. "It’s been great having Billy and Ciaran with us over the past month. "They’ve settled in brilliantly with the group, and their attitude and professionalism have been first class throughout. We’d like to wish them both the very best of luck in their football careers and thank Yan and everyone at Forest Green Rovers for their help in making the loan possible." It was another successful night for on-loan duo Ciaran Walsh and Billy Glover, as they helped send parent club Forest Green Rovers through to the FA Youth Cup Second Round on Tuesday evening. Defender Walsh, who has made one appearance for Didcot since his arrival on loan, once again captained the side as they knocked out Exeter City 3-2 to book their place in the next round. Striker Glover was once again the chief predator with two more goals in the competition. Glover, who has made five appearances for Didcot since his arrival on loan, has now scored five times in three games in the competition. It is the second season in a row that @CiaranWalsh_6 and @Billyglover41 have helped @FGRFC_Official reach the second round, and they will now hope to go one better than last season, where they lost to Merstham at the second round stage.

Didcot Town would like to welcome Billy Glover, Ciaran Walsh and Lochlan Colquhoun to the club.  Didcot Town have signed Billy Glover and Ciaran Walsh from Forest Green Rovers on initial one-month loan deals.  The pair, who are both part of the @FGRFC_Official youth system, both join on a work experience agreement. @CiaranWalsh_6 is a centre back who captains the under 18 side at Forest Green Rovers.  Ciaran joined Forest Green at under 13 after a successful 6 weeks trial.  The following season,  he was asked to train with the under 18s and he became a regular in the under 16s side.  He also made his under 18s league debut at 14 and he's captained the side at each age group.  @BillyGlove10 has been the leading goalscorer in his respective age groups in the previous two seasons and he scored twice in their midweek FA Youth Cup win at Bath City. He's got a formidable record at youth level,  scoring 89 goals in 118 games for Forest Green.  We would like to thank both Yan Klukowski and Paul Davis from Forest Green Rovers for their cooperation in making this deal happen.  Didcot have also signed Lochlan Colquhoun from Stratford Town.  The attacking fullback joins the railwaymen on a loan deal.  Lochlan has previous experience with Sholing, Kidlington, Easington Sport, Solent University, Risborough Rangers and Buckingham. Lochlan made 20 appearances for Buckingham last season, where he was involved in 14 goal contributions.  We would also like to thank Stratford for their part in this deal.  All three are available for the clash with Larkhall Athletic this weekend and we would like to welcome them all to the Loop Meadow Stadium.
