Can we call Rowling's post for what it really is: abusive, exploitative and voyeuristic behavior. Here in the UK it's actually illegal to upskirt someone, but when you're as wealthy and entitled as Rowling, I suppose it makes you exempt from criminal punishment.
Politics For You@PoliticoForYou

BREAKING 🚨🚨🚨 JK Rowling posts a revealing photo of a trans woman then claims it was her fault because of what she was wearing. JK Rowling is about as much of a feminist as Ted Bundy.

@jonnyboybrum @DonkinFaith @thefempire50 This feels circular: are men dangerous because they are badly brought up by women or because they are brought up by men who are too dangerous to bring them up? 🤔

@RoisinMichaux And yet gender criticals invariably seem to be well off middle class. Poor people know the important issues - VAWG, gender inequality, reproductive rights, equal wages. They hardly ever come across trans people. No time at all for the gender critical luxury beliefs.

@IrishPoliticsNL What a pair. The dream couple for Sinn Féin. Plastic Paddy virtue signallers 🤣🤣🤣🤣 The only MEP in the entire EU who can’t speak her own language. What an absolute joke.

This is shocking. At an EU Foreign Affairs Committee meeting, Lynn Boylan lamented that it was “a pity we can’t use our own language.” When it was pointed out that she could, in fact, speak Irish, she backtracked almost instantly: "I wasn’t prepared, so I’ll use English."

If trans women use men’s toilets, they will be subjected to humiliation, abuse and violence. Anyone with any sense knows this. Which is why in practice trans women will not use men’s toilets, and will just increasingly be driven out of society.

Single-sex spaces - such as changing rooms and toilets - must be used on the basis of biological sex, new guidance from the equalities watchdog has confirmed. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

@x541ALLDAYx @sappholives83 Absolutely not true, though I suspect that a lot of the straight men who support it are misogynists and love to watch women's rights being dismantled by gender ideology.

@sappholives83 The support comes from the lgbtq community and straight white women. You will never see a straight male advocating for it……

The lie that women are especially supportive of gender ideology has done more than anything to undermine our resistance to this nonsense. It is patently obvious that the media has actively worked to present a false narrative in which women are blithely supportive of the men and boys invading our spaces. The truth is far more complicated. The media has worked very hard to make it seem as if women support this stuff, because female support is, in and of itself, seen an argument for allowing these men to violate our spaces and claim to be women. The MMS has actively worked to silence any opposing voices, while at the same time giving endless amounts of airtime to any whack job leftist woman willing to get on camera and say that TWAW. I have spoken to hundreds of women in real life about this issue, and maybe three of them have been supportive of it. I don’t deny that in blue states there is significant support for gender ideology; however, the media has worked hard to make it seem as if that support is coming almost entirely from women, when this simply isn’t the case. The vast majority of the TRAs I encounter arguing this crap online are men, and other women have told me they have the same experiences.

Why is a problem caused by violent men expected to be solved by women? If men are attacking other men, deal with the men attacking other men. Why is the answer that women must surrender their own spaces instead of men tackling male violence?

The Good Law Project has cancelled its own Monster campaign after just a few hours for being 'transphobic'. It involved posters of absurd CGI animals and the words 'Of course I support trans – I’m not a monster'. Several trans activists said it felt like they were being mocked.

This is MMA fighter Sean McInnes. When Anne Marie Boyle asked him to leave her alone, he punched her in the face so hard that he broke her cheekbone and her eye socket, knocked her unconscious, and left her with a life-altering brain injury. He was given less than two years behind bars. It would be a real shame if this post was widely circulated and impacted his career in a negative way.

I’m reading all these posts about Amnesty while alone, far from my family and my dog, in a hotel room in Montenegro, where I have come to ask local women if they know that by joining the EU they will lose their sex-based rights. I can afford to come here because I asked for donations. Over the course of a week, a bunch of people I’ve never met sent me small amounts (though one person sent €250!). No Trump, no Orban, no Putin, no ADF. I listened to the @amnesty interview with Bellingcat yesterday as I walked the streets of Podgorica looking for people to talk to (all of the professional feminist orgs here refuse to meet me because they don’t want to sully their accession ambitions). There was nothing new in what the Amnesty woman said in that interview about people like me (I’m a “grifter”according to her analysis). I have been called far worse than “anti-rights”. I am one of the women who has lost her job for speaking out about the erasure of sex in law. She has a cushty “human rights career”. Who’s anti- whose rights? I’m reading this avalanche of anger at Amnesty, and the defences of all these amazing organisations and individuals, and it’s so awesome I burst into tears. You are all awesome. How dare they.
Maya Forstater@MForstater

Euan @euanmccolm is right, Amnesty is wrong. The (mainly) women in movement are nothing like passive and indistinguishable bits of snow being rolled into a ball by some external designer. Perhaps the most fundamental failure in all of this has been how powerful organisations have discounted the agency of ordinary women, as they sought to give our rights away.
