@ReadingFC Bad decision imo… have to question the “identity” that has been established too? Unless you mean no attacking football?? Unfortunately this hasn’t worked… unless the “philosophy” somehow changes completely or ££££’s is thrown- I think we will be in the same position next year

@PrinceleyRoyal Agreed- I just doubt this is a good way of doing it- and I worry that, yes, we may one get promoted, but will our current play sustain it? I’m not sure it will… I think we’d more than likely come right back down… but… who knows! 😂 I just want to watch some actual football!

@Bio__Matt I think Rob et al want promotion asap - which I get. Improved revenue, more sponsorship, better product etc. However, financially, a dangerous game as you are going up against the likes of Cardiff, Huddersfield, Luton, Bolton for wages as well as lower end Championship clubs. 🦁

Leam Richardson in… for now. #ReadingFC needs an experienced DoF to work with BC before the summer transfer window. If we are sat here at Christmas, short of pace and agility and still unable to get up the pitch, he has to go. Big clearout of players needed 🦁

@MiloRoyal1871 This is what’s so frustrating… we had an opportunity to get someone in who could have improved the style of play… Bar a couple of good players- squad is largely average…

I know I seem like a moany bastard going on all the time, but this is just so shit, it's the same week in week out. This Richardson nonsense just isn't working at #ReadingFC and it isn't going to change as he was exactly the same at every other club. Squad isn't great either.

@AndyPreston96 It is awful though- and the worst part is- nobody looks like they know what they’re doing?! Wayward balls all over the place, no movement… it’s one thing being negative and solid but this team is just overly negative and actually quite poor defensively…

I've never seen a team under a manager who has taken the team up the league 11 places get so much criticism. Speaks a lot to how negative the football on display is. You simply can't get away with that when you're conceding stoppage time goals regularly. #ReadingFC

@MiloRoyal1871 We’ve really made some bad recruitment decisions this season…

#ReadingFC are supposed to be a team chasing a playoff place, but they're playing like a mid table side already on holiday. Too many in this squad lacking the right mindset.

Also… seeing Lincoln get promoted makes me realise how bad our recruitment has been- we have made some awful signings / loans #readingfc

We are expecting our biggest crowd of the season to date this afternoon, with Club 1871 SOLD OUT.😍 Limited spaces have been released in car park 6, which can be purchased online up until 11am. Due to the big crowd expected, allow extra time to enter the stadium💙

Totally agree. Today has been lumped in with previous games we’ve sat back but that wasn’t the case. A big lack of concentration has cost us, not waiting to concede in our own half

@ElmParkRoyals I don’t think it’s mindset in this instance- the way we play, conceding late is bound to happen when you defend and invite pressure for 80 mins, as we’ve already seen this season. What is frustrating is that nothing changes… and I’m not sure LR has the capacity to mix it up.

The team are giving everything and have for the last few years. Yet there’s still a pattern of them falling just short in big matches when pushing for top 6. That’s under multiple managers and different players. Mindset is almost there but not quite. Still hope though
