More insights from the talented members of the BioengineeringTumor Project! Another enlightening talk was delivered by Luka Bojić from the Institute IMMGI, titled:“Comparison of the Effects of Combined Doxorubicin and Quercetin Treatment on 2D and 3D Osteosarcoma Model Systems.”

The second talk of the day was delivered by Marija Pavlović, who presented on:
“Doxorubicin Application in a 3D Osteosarcoma Cell Culture Model.” Another thought-provoking session contributing to advancements in cancer research! 🧬🌟

We are pleased to host Anais Morgane Le Masson from Politecnico di Torino at the Biomedical Engineering Laboratory, Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade. Over the next two months, Anais will be doing experiments for her Master’s thesis here with us.

Yesterday, we took advantage of what might be the last warm and sunny day in October to gather and celebrate the belated birthday of our TMF group and project leader, Prof. Bojana Obradović. ☀️🎂

Milena Milivojević from IMGGE presented her poster, entitled "Compared Effect of Doxorubicin and Quercetin Combined Treatment in 2D and 3D Osteosarcoma Model Systems”, at the Congress of the Serbian Genetic Society, held at Zlatibor from September 2-5.

BioengineeredTumor Project at the European Researchers’ Night! We had the chance to bring the project aims closer to a wide audience! Visitors learned about the long journey of an anticancer drug from lab to clinic, and how biomimetic 3D models can improve preclinical research.
