I remember the whole outrage about the ending of ME3, and all the wild theories that suddenly started circulating. The way everyone came together to demand a better ending. Everything felt so alive and hopeful then. The BioWare forums were on fire!

Man, the 2008 - 2012 was such a good time for games. Sometimes, I play OSTs from some of those titles and get all nostalgic. What a special period of time.

Lair of the Shadow Broker is simply fantastic. The rain in Liaras apartment, the writing, Tela the Spectre, the soundtrack, the throwbacks to ME1... incredible.

So, is Dark (the tv show) worth getting into? I’ve mostly heard really good stuff.

I wonder if my tastes and opinions on the FF series as a whole would be different if my first game was VII. FFVIII was so dark and so incredibly complex that I fell in love with the weird and the incomprehensible. Probably why my favorite FF games now are VIII, X and XIII.

Back when I was a kid and wanted to get into the FF series, I first wanted to start with VII so I bought it from a friend. However, the CDs were faulty and he sold me VIII instead. It ended up being the best trade ever, because VIII is and always will be my favorite FF game.
