Today Charlie Watch visited Woolston Neighbourhood Hub pool and talked to over 200 young people about staying safe in & around water! As part of #DrowningPreventionWeek they were taught how to offer assistance to someone in the water by shouting, reaching and finally throwing!

We're supporting the @RLSSUK for their #drowningpreventionweek campaign. Make sure you know the risks of entering open water. Be aware of hidden dangers such as currents and objects under the surface. Be mindful the water maybe a lot cooler than you expect!🚒🔥 #CheshireFire

Check before you park, are you parked on a fire hydrant? Fire hydrants will mostly be painted yellow with a sign nearby! These allow us to get an adequate water supply when dealing with fires 🔥 Please avoid parking over the top of them, and leave a suitable distance! 🚒🔥

Due to an increase of fires involving white goods, we would like to remind you not to use washing machines, tumble dryers and dishwashers while you are out, or when in bed. Make sure you regularly clean filters as this could increase the risk of a fire! 🔥 🚒 #CheshireFire

Crews are in Birchwood park promoting the biker THINK campaign. Come visit the Police and fire service and hear about Road safety. We hope to raise awareness to drivers approaching at junctions to take the time to look and look again for emerging motorbikes and cyclists 🏍️ 🚲
