In Queens, the Black-necked Stilt and Wilson's Phalarope are reported continuing this Monday on the East Pond of Jamaica Bay WR. Red Knots and many expected shorebirds also are present.

After work visit to Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge to see a black-necked stilt. This bird ranges from the western and southern United States through Central America, the Caribbean, and down to Peru and Brazil. Glad this one is visiting Queens! #blackneckedstilt#birding
