These last few months have pushed me to my limits, and through the process I've found out a lot more about myself. With my graduation though, I'm happy to announce that I'll be heading to Europe for my Master's. Thanks to everyone who's pushed me along, the journey continues.

I am a Counter-Strike player who loved de_canals when I could play it in comp and will stand by that until the day that I inevitably perish

@BenikageCasts If CTs are only rewarded for kills that happen once the round is unwinnable, that's going to de-motivate the attempt even more.... Only the Ts stand to gain.

@BirdehBox I think if instead of just after the bomb goes down it’s “5 seconds before detonation” would be better. Wouldn’t punish CTs who die on site trying to retake but still encourages retakes and hunting.

Idea: To fix the saving meta, double kill rewards once the bomb goes down. Encourages T sides to hunt, encourages CTs to retake. For ecos, T's are rewarded for planting the bomb and successfully defending the retake, but they don't lose out too much if it follows a clutch. 1/2

On CT side, going for a retake where you're unlikely to win the round can still net positives heading into the next round. Similarly to the T side, saving a few recovered weapons on a CT eco might not outweigh the benefits of locking down more exit frags or going for the round.

For those that haven't done the math, I encourage you to do so and realize that LCA isn't actively trying to rob everybody. We're trying to do what we can and this is helping us to do that. Anyone who thinks we're being unfair can kindly let me know so I can cut ties.
Level 1 Boss@level1boss_us

After the entry fees, LCA will still be in the hole $1,000. Assuming that 20 games get paid for, at $30 a piece, they'd still be in the hole $400. And that's ONLY if they didn't pay the casters for their work (which they do). They kept entry fees low knowing they'd run at a loss

@crazlik @FraqKTR @VindiMK The tweet begins with the words "Stop trying to save NA CS". There is absolutely nothing which follows that which is remotely sound. Take a step back and stop riding your man & realize that his ability to speak doesn't make him intelligent. If he wants to target people, @ them.

Stop trying to “SAVE NACS” Everyone spends so much time making these videos & articles about how it can be saved but I have not seen ONE single person make an impact yet, it’s almost like we want the attention that we are dead more. Until that day comes we will remain the laughing stock of counter strike.

@VindiMK Instead of hundreds of hours into broadcast work, maybe I'll get myself and the rest of NA CS to write a letter to the leader of every world power to help. Nah you're right the effort isn't worth it... Let's all collectively give up, stop putting in effort and raising awareness.

@VindiMK Most everyone who's involved in the discussion and putting work in is doing what is good and reasonable. Everyone from the players, casters orgs & TOs are making small sacrifices. Would you like me to put my life savings into NA CS? Is that the sort of impact you're looking for?

@PiNGCasts According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible. Yellow, black. Yellow, black. Yellow,

Not to mention that if ESEA ran another season, all of you people advocating for it would be complaining about the lack of CS2 practice before your matches on the new update.

My brother this is the smooth transition. Teams have been complaining for more than half a decade that there is no substantial break between seasons, and we all know how terribly a mid season transition would play out considering how badly the servers break with every update.
MaestrO Mike@Maestr0Mike

Massive L. ESEA could’ve taken the approach of promoting the last ever league season for CS:GO, ensuring a smooth transition for teams & orgs, but instead took the underwhelming & disruptive route with no indication of when and how to prepare for the next season Huge oversight
