@RareBirdAlertUK While shameful activity in Spain, 14 of the species on the Open Season quarry list in UK are Red or Amber listed Birds of Conservation Concern. They are shot in their tens of thousands every winter. Completely unsustainable.

How depressing Wild birds still being shot for fun in the 21st century and to add insult to injury the ignorant shooters can't even tell a thrush from a woodcock.
