@Mrs_Earhart This is the second year in a row that my district has had half days on Fridays. Teachers have every Friday afternoon to plan. Some Fridays are early release for the staff as well so we can get some rest time. Very thankful!

Two years ago today I had no idea this would be the last picture I ever took with my Dad. Friendly word of advice...take pictures of and with your family and friends often. ❤️

Over a month’s worth of work came to complete fruition today with the help of my amazing teammates. All 600+ of our students’ Grand Prairie Love Project art pieces went on display. Several more will be on display in public throughout the city.

Random reflections of a teacher: The root word of discipline is disciple. A disciple is a learner or follower. So, the main purpose of discipline should be to teach rather than punish. #ithinktoomuch
