@EricLDaugh Shocking how many people don’t understand the tariffs are coming out of your (the consumer ) own pocket. Everyone is essentially being double taxed - federal income tax and tariff tax through higher product prices to cover the tax.

Single income household. After insurance and taxes I bring home a bit over $7k/mo. Half of that goes to general living costs; mortgage, utilities, etc. No car payments or anything. $15k in emergency account, about $60k in my 401k. Still feel broke though. My wife and I have problems conceiving so I spend every spare dime I have on expensive treatment and tests.
