The Lake Conference was once again well represented in the list of top teams in State. Congrats to Eden Prairie, Edina, Minnetonka, and Wayzata.

In the final consolation heat of the night, our Bison team of Noah Wittke, Ty Kosek, Cooper Polzin, and Rylan Close place 5th (13th overall) with a time of 3:13.79. They set a new Buffalo school record. Way to end the season boys.

Cooper Polzin finishes his last individual race as a Bison in 6th place in the consolation heat of the 200 IM with a time of 1:59.15.

Bison Medley Relay of Pilcher, Polzin, Close, and Wittke swim well in the consolation but are unfortunately disqualified. Still more swimming to come.

15 minutes until the start of the State AA swim and dive finals. Our Bison will have swimmers in the consolation heats of the 200 Medley Relay, 200 Individual Medley, and 400 Freestyle Relay. Wish our boys good luck.

400 FREE: 3:15.36 for Buffalo sets new school record. Also qualifies for consolation at 15th place. Polzin, Wittke, Kosek, Close the team.

400 Free Relay of Wittke, Kosek, Polzin, and Close swim a new school record of 3:15.36 and place 15th. They will be back tomorrow in the consolation.

Rylan Close finishes the 100 backstroke in a time of 55.15 and finishes 18th.

Rylan Close swims a 52:21 and comes in 18th. He has another shot at an individual top 16 finish when he competes in the 100 backstroke.

In the 200 IM

Buffalo’s Cooper Polzin breaks his own 200 IM school record with time of 1:58.44. Tied for 13th overall and will swim tomorrow’s consolation.
