Most people did not miss Claude’s updates because Anthropic shipped too little.
They missed them because Anthropic shipped too much, too fast.
From Feb 1 to Mar 24, the Claude team put out 52 days of releases, and the list is stacked:
- Opus 4.6 Launch on Feb 5
- Sonnet 4.6 release on Feb 17
- Opus 1M in Claude Code on Mar 13
- 1M Context Window GA
- Claude Code output token limits up to 64K
- CC/loop on 3-day and 7 Days rhythms
- 2x usage promo
Behind that were 9 team members plus 1 official account pushing product updates into market.
The useful signal for builders:
users don’t experience your roadmap as a roadmap.
They experience fragments.
A launch here. A feature there. A limit increase they notice only when it unblocks them.
So when someone compresses the last 52 days into one view, the picture changes.
It stops looking like isolated announcements and starts looking like coordinated execution.
Anthropic, founded in 2021, has been steadily expanding the context-and-code frontier since Claude 2 pushed to around 100,000 tokens in 2023.
This recent stretch shows the same pattern with more intensity: keep improving the model, but also keep widening the actual working surface around it.
That’s why posts like this are worth saving.
Not for nostalgia.
For calibration on what real shipping cadence looks like in AI right now.

Learning about AI is the new procrastination masterpiece.
Every new tool, every new prompt, every new tutorial gives your brain a tiny hit of dopamine. You feel like you're making progress. You're not. You're just getting high on the feeling of almost starting.
It's the cheapest reward trick your brain has ever found: feel like a builder without building anything.
"Just one more tool."
"Just one more prompt."
"Then I'll start."
Spoiler alert: You won't. Because there's always another one.

Today I'm releasing my entire newsletter archive (350+ posts) and all podcast transcripts (300+ episodes) as AI-friendly Markdown files. Plus an MCP server and GitHub repo.
A few months ago I shared my podcast transcripts on a whim, and y'all built the most amazing things—an RPG game, a parenting wisdom site, infographics, a Twitter bot, and 50+ other projects.
Let's see what happens when I give you even more data.
Grab the data here: LennysData.com.
Paid subscribers get all of the data (some 350 posts and 300 transcripts). Free subscribers get a subset.
I don’t think anyone’s ever done anything like this before, and I’m excited to give you this excuse to play with that AI tool you've been meaning to try.
Here’s my challenge to you: build something, and let me know about it. I’ll pick my favorite and give you a free 1-year subscription to the newsletter. Just post a link to your project in the comments here: lennysnewsletter.com/p/how-i-built-….
If you’ve already built something, slurp in this new data and submit it, too. I’ll pick a winner on April 15th.
Check out today's newsletter post for inspiration on what you could to build: lennysnewsletter.com/p/how-i-built-…
LFG.

@gregisenberg Is Manus still improving? I thought that after the acquisition they would simply disappear little by little.
