@BitBangingBytes Possibly a second hand Prius. Maybe a bit less.

Decided to try a little experiment - zooming in from 15x to 100,000x in smooth progression. The SEM isn't particularly well calibrated so the result is only ~30-40nm resolution, but I think it's still pretty neat. Working on making SEMs so affordable you could have one at home :)

@Fishbizzz Yea, was testing laser decapping. I think this was IR and it would only be good for an initial pocket to pour acid in…

@BitBangingBytes What laser wavelength? Looks like the laser destroyed all the metallization in the die. You need to change settings or switch to acid when you hit the bond wires to avoid damage.
