📢 Announcement on the Adjustment of BTFS Legacy Services and Data Backup Arrangements As the BitTorrent ecosystem transitions towards the AI infrastructure, BTTInferGrid will become the primary focus for decentralized AI inference, building upon the distributed resources, node networks, and ecosystem foundation established by BTFS. As part of this overarching product strategy, legacy services related to BTFS will undergo a phased adjustment. To ensure smooth data handling and migration, BTFS will open a data download and backup window starting from June 24, 2026. Users currently relying on BTFS legacy services are advised to complete the download and backup of any critical data by July 24, 2026. Beginning July 25, 2026, the phased decommissioning of BTFS-related legacy products, APIs, backend services, and associated resources will commence. This process is expected to conclude by August 9, 2026. We strongly encourage all affected users to prioritize backing up their important data to avoid disruptions caused by service adjustments.
