✅ How emission process works in #Bittensor? 1. For each block, which occurs every 12 seconds on the Bittensor blockchain, a single $TAO is produced, or minted. 2. A fraction of this single $TAO is assigned to each of the 32 subnets based on the performance of the subnet. The distribution percentage for each subnet is determined by the root network. Therefore, the sum of these fractional allocations will equal 100%. 3. Upon the completion of each tempo, which spans 360 blocks for any user-created subnet, the accumulated $TAO for that subnet is released into it. This released $TAO for the subnet is then allocated within the subnet in the form of: -Dividends to the subnet validators. -Incentives to the subnet miners. 🗒️More details about the emission process can be found in the official #Bittensor documents: docs.bittensor.com/emissions #BitTranslate
