@BitWily other than that, I haven't had any problems at all with discord like you mentioned in a previous tweet tho I do know nvidia really doesnt like linux so I've been steering far for anything that requires heavy gpu usage

what i can note about using linux for a month is that, the file explorer is SO MUCH BETTER, but theres no middle button slide scroll like windows. installing wasnt that hard it was just following tutorials. some things were worse performing on linux, like minecraft and csp

my experience with linux has not been great honestly, program just kinda stop working for no reason, or use WAY more ram than they did in windows, and memory hitting the limit fucks up linux so much worse than it did windows

@TheThakur0016 yeah i am aware they dont auto update, the 2 times discord updated had me redownloading, but nothing wrong happened, heck when it broke it didnt even ask me to reinstall anything, it just broke, so i would feel this wouldnt be related to it just breaking

@BitWily .deb is not the way to go to install software, I'd recommend using the mint software Manager first and foremost to install software. My guess is .deb file for discord is missing dependencies or since .deb files don't automatically update that can be the issue too

@TheThakur0016 waterfox was flatpak, i dont remember what steam was , discord i think was a .deb whatever that is honestly

@BitWily Did you install the app from software manager or flatpak?
