From someone “stuck in the $10k-$20k range”, this episode has given me some great stuff to dive into during the work weekend. 💰

Jimmy (@askjimmysmith) joined @ChrisRacic and I on the pod and shared that he thinks 2026 may be one of the best times to be an Amazon seller. Hot take if you scroll social media for any length of time. Listen in and see if you agree. youtu.be/KZ7fB7pTCEs

I made over $400,000 net profit selling toys in 2025. Doesn't include cash back, newsletter revenue, or local cash transactions. I can't believe I actually get to type that. It feels surreal. No employees, no VA, no prep center. Just a nerd surrounded by discontinued toys in a house. I just shot out the specifics in my newsletter, but here are some fun stats to highlight for the X timeline: - Of my top 50 most profitable ASINs on Amazon, 44 of them were held under a year. On Walmart, 48 of them were held for under a year. Buy and hold doesn't need to mean you're holding for years. - Of my top 50 most profitable ASINs on Amazon, 31 of them were purchased before they were profitable. On Walmart, 43 of my top 50 most profitable ASINs were purchased before they were profitable. Drives home the most important tip I will always preach - look at a SKU for what it's going to become, not what it is at the time you scan it. - On Amazon, only 2 LEGO sets made it into my top 50 most profitable SKUs of the year. On Walmart, LEGO made up 7 of my top 50. Lots of people think buy and hold is mostly LEGO. It doesn't have to be. I love LEGO. But it's far from my most profitable brand. - I truly believe the profit can be doubled but the work output remains the same. I sold about 63,000 items this year. I'm comfortable prepping that myself. No reason I can't double my profit per sale over the coming years, especially as I get more capital and can afford to hold items longer. I love this model. Bullish. Onto 2026...

Year in Review 2025 My goal for my first full calendar year was to sell $50k on the side of my full-time job, just to see if I could do it. Joined some Discords, started posting on X, and met some awesome people. The turning point was attending Miami Seller Conference in May. It was there that I discovered that reselling is more than just a hobby, it’s a vehicle for building the future that I want. July is when I added Walmart as a way to move some gated AMZ brands. Having multiple storefronts opened me up to new brands, categories and sourcing strategies. Managing a full-time job, supporting a family, along with other responsibilities makes scaling a little more challenging. I’m running my own race and having a lot of fun along the way! Not a Chad-Scaler, just a guy named Chad on a mission to build something better for my family. 2025 Goal Crushed ✅ Let’s double it for 2026🚀 2025 Total Revenue - $114,656.96 Amazon - $98,870.56 Walmart - $15,786.40

I'm probably just not that smart, or haven't been in the game long enough....but I've ALWAYS struggled to differentiate between OA/RA/WS/brand direct/OA hybrid,A2A, etc.... Isn't it literally all arbitrage?! Buy for low, sell for high...no matter what you call yourself or how you get product, we're all resellers who arbitrage the difference. It's like being a sales person who prefers door to door sales versus phone sales, versus email outreach; all are sales people! There's brands I've bought through one large WS order, I've also bought them directly from the brands website, and I also bought that brand in store on clearance....I just wanna buy that product however it's being sold cheap that day. There's many instances I can think of where going in person to the store is EASIER to get the quantity I want versus other sourcing methods. So on those days we're buying in store! I remember hearing WS guys talking about how they don't think "arbitrage selling" will be around in the future....and I'm like how is WS any different, it's quite literally all arbitrage selling, right?? One person's a cold caller hunting for deals, the other's an online shopper or in store shopper hunting for deals. Whether it comes from a clearance shelf or directly from the brand, we're all just looking to buy authentic products for cheap and sell for more. I don't understand why we bash one over the other...when it's the same hustle. Or am I wrong? I vote that in 2026 we quit using these fancy acronyms to make our business sound cooler than it is and admit we're all deal junkies looking for cheap crap we can sell for more. Unless you own the brand you sell, you're a dirty arbitrage reseller. Final!
