Coralia didn't visit a dentist for 40 years. During dental checkup, we have found severe bone loss and a complete denture in poor condition, which made it difficult for her to eat. But Bitcoin fixes teeth and has rehabilitated Coralia with a phenomenal new BitcoinSmile! 🦷🦷 🦷🇸🇻

Coralia (79). She's a widow & loss two sons. She has no formal income but try to sell fruits, fried vegetable pastries or firewood. She lives in a public space in a tiny house. She had an abdominal surgery due to an accident & currently is affected for high blood pressure ⚡⚡

Since 2021 our mission has been transforming lives of people living in impoverished communities in 🇸🇻 (specifically the "forgotten" people of El Zonte) by bringing together the BTC community & critical dental care to create as many Bitcoin Smiles as possible🦷 #BitcoinFixesTeeth

The produced restoration "undergoes final touches, including sintering, polishing, curing, and cleaning, to ensure it is ready for patient use".  🦷🦷🦷

The designed model is manufactured using 3D printers or milling machines🦷🦷🦷

Then the digital scan is imported into software where we design the restoration with precision🦷🦷🦷

Our digital dentistry workflow is providing upgraded solutions. First we take a digital capture/scanning from patient's oral cavity🦷🦷🦷

Bitcoin Smiles has a small garden where we try to grow a small vegetable patch. Everything we grow ends up on our table: papayas, basil, lemons, capers, chili peppers, tomatoes, plátano macho, even 🍓(but difficult due the heat). This year's harvest is bountiful! 😅☘

Over time she developed a torus palatinus (a bony growth on the palate) that complicates treatment and makes rehabilitation a challenge. But we are prepared facing challenging situations and have proudly provide an upgraded solution for Rosa thanks to BTC 🦷🦷⚡🇸🇻💛

Rosa (61) has no formal job but sometimes has a temporary one selling goods. 25 years ago was diagnosed with hypothyroidism during which time also lost most of her teeth. At the time she had dentures but they broke easily, leading to many problems with her oral health ⛑
