I need to be real with you all. I've gone back and forth about posting this but I can't stay quiet anymore.
My 4 year old son has a severe neurological condition. He's non-verbal and autistic and requires constant specialized care. That alone turned our family's life upside down. We found treatments that are extremely promising but they're just out of reach right now.
Then a few weeks ago, my 11 year old was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.
What was already the hardest chapter of our lives just got significantly harder. We have a 4 year old with intensive daily needs, an 11 year old whose health now requires around the clock management, and a 1 year old. There aren't enough hours in the day and there aren't enough of us.
The art and design markets have been going through some serious changes and it's left us in the tightest financial spot we've ever been in. I'm not here for sympathy. I'm here because love and will do anything for them and have to exhaust every option I can.

Kisah tragis bankir Estonia yang kehilangan $1 miliar karena lupa private key Gila sih! Ada bankir Estonia yang beli 250.000 ETH pas 2014 seharga cuma 75 ribu dolar. Sekarang wallet itu isinya lebih dari 1 miliar dolar… tapi dia nggak bisa sentuh satu koin pun. Kenapa? Karena dia lupa private key-nya. Kisah paling pahit di dunia kripto. Siap denger? Dia adalah Rain Lõhmus. Dia pendiri LHV Bank, salah satu bank swasta terbesar di Estonia. Tahun 2014, pas Ethereum lagi presale (ICO), dia gaspol beli 250.000 ETH di harga cuma 0,30 dolar per koin. Taruhan gila yang seharusnya bikin dia jadi salah satu orang terkaya di kripto. Tapi hidup nggak semulus itu. Lõhmus kehilangan akses permanen ke wallet-nya. Dia lupa private key, seed phrase, dan file wallet JSON-nya. Akibatnya, wallet itu masih berdiri di blockchain Ethereum sampe sekarang — nggak ada satu transaksi keluar pun sejak 2014. Cerita ini baru meledak akhir Oktober 2023. Lõhmus cerita di radio nasional Estonia (ERR) dengan santai banget: “Bukan rahasia kok, aku punya wallet 250.000 ETH. Siapa pun bisa liat nilainya sekarang.” Saat itu nilainya udah 470 juta dolar. Dia bahkan bilang rela bagi hasil kalau ada yang bisa bantu recover. Wallet-nya langsung dikonfirmasi orang dalam. Conor Grogan dari Coinbase kasih label di X, dan explorer seperti Etherscan sama Arkham Intelligence langsung tulis “Rain Lõhmus” di alamatnya. Semua orang bisa liat, tapi nggak ada yang bisa buka. Tahun 2025 pas ETH nyentuh 4.700 dolar, wallet itu nilainya udah melejit lewat 1,2 miliar dolar. Sekarang di 2026, masih di kisaran 1 miliar dolar lebih. Tapi tetap nggak tersentuh. Cuma ada dust kecil-kecil yang nggak berarti. Lõhmus sendiri nggak panik berlebihan. Dia bilang kehilangan password itu “hal biasa” buat dia. Bahkan pernah bercanda: rencananya bikin “AI versi dirinya sendiri” biar bisa inget password itu. Sampai sekarang, wallet-nya masih terkunci rapat. Kisah Rain Lõhmus jadi pengingat paling mahal di dunia kripto: “Not your keys, not your coins.” Berapa pun nilainya di kertas, tanpa private key, duit itu sama aja nggak ada. Monumen hidup yang bikin merinding. Pernah denger kasus Rain Lõhmus ini sebelumnya? Atau lo punya cerita kehilangan crypto yang lebih bikin pusing?
